Getting Started

How do I start practicing?

From the Home screen, tap "Start Practice" or select a specific subject. You can also use "Quick Practice" to choose specific question types.

How do I reset my progress?

Go to Settings (gear icon in bottom right) and tap "Reset Progress". This will clear all your statistics and start fresh.

How do I change my daily practice goal?

Go to Settings and look for "Daily Practice Goal". You can set anywhere from 10 to 30 questions per day.

Practice & Learning

Can I practice specific subjects?

Yes! Go to the Practice tab and select "Quick Practice". You can choose specific subjects (Maths, English, Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning) and question types.

How do the mock exams work?

Mock exams simulate real exam conditions with 50 questions in 45 minutes. You'll get a score and breakdown at the end. You can take mock exams for different exam styles (GL, CEM, etc.).

What does "Help Me" do?

Tapping "Help Me" on any question provides hints and explanations to help you understand how to solve it. On iOS 18+, you can also use Apple Intelligence for more detailed explanations.

How many questions are there?

Over 17,000 questions covering all four 11+ subjects: Mathematics, English, Verbal Reasoning, and Non-Verbal Reasoning.

Parent Features

How do I connect to Progress Monitor?

To pair with the Progress Monitor app:

  1. Open Progress Monitor on the parent's device
  2. Tap "Add Child" to generate a 6-digit code
  3. In My 11+ Tutor, go to Settings > Parent Mode
  4. Enter the 6-digit code
  5. Your progress will now sync to the parent's app

How do I disconnect from Progress Monitor?

Go to Settings > Parent Mode and tap "Disconnect". This stops sharing your progress with the parent app.

How do I add a child to monitor?

To add a child:

  1. Tap the "+" button or "Add Child" on the dashboard
  2. A 6-digit pairing code will be displayed
  3. Enter this code in the child's app (Settings > Parent Mode)
  4. Once paired, progress syncs automatically

Understanding Progress

What do the spider diagrams show?

Spider diagrams (available with Family subscription) visualise your child's performance across different subjects and question types. The further the line extends toward the edge, the better the performance in that area. Use it to identify strengths and areas needing more practice.

How often does data sync?

Progress syncs automatically whenever the child completes a practice session and has an internet connection. You should see updates within seconds.

Subscriptions

How do I upgrade my subscription?

Go to Settings > Subscription in Progress Monitor. You can upgrade from Free to Family, or to Tutor/Centre tiers. Changes take effect immediately.

How do I cancel my subscription?

To cancel your subscription:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone/iPad
  2. Tap your name at the top
  3. Tap "Subscriptions"
  4. Find "My 11+ Tutor - Progress Monitor"
  5. Tap "Cancel Subscription"

You'll keep premium features until the end of your billing period.

Can I get a refund?

Refund requests are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, and request a refund for the subscription purchase.

Is Family Sharing supported?

Yes! Family subscriptions support Apple's Family Sharing. One subscription can be shared with your Family Sharing group.
